TalePOP is an AI-powered storybook app for children aged 5–10. You choose a world, a main character, and optional companions, and the app generates a brand-new illustrated chapter story — unique every time. Stories can be narrated aloud, saved for offline reading, and exported as PDFs.
Every new install gets 3 full-experience trial stories — including audio narration, co-author mode, and all story lengths. After the trial, the free plan gives you 1 story per day with shorter stories and no audio narration. Subscribing unlocks the full experience again.
Free — 1 story per day, short stories only, no audio.
Basic — 10 stories per day, all story lengths, audio narration, co-author mode.
Standard — 25 stories per day, all features.
Premium — 50 stories per day, all features, best AI model.
All paid plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time from your Google Play account.
You can cancel at any time through your Google Play account: open the Play Store app → tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → TalePOP → Cancel subscription. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Audio narration is available during the 3-story trial and on all paid plans (Basic, Standard, Premium). On the free plan after the trial, audio is not available. You can still read every story in text form for free.
Stories come in three lengths: Short (3 chapters), Medium (5 chapters), and Long (7 chapters). Free plan users get short stories only. Trial and paid plan users can choose any length.
Yes. Once a story is generated and its audio narration downloaded, everything is cached on your device. You can read and listen with no internet connection. Generating a new story does require an internet connection.
TalePOP stores minimal anonymous data: a randomly generated device ID, platform, app version, locale, and (if you grant permission) a push notification token. If you subscribe, we store your subscription tier and expiry date. We do not store your child's name, stories, illustrations, audio, or any personal details — those stay on your device only.
